TiruvallurLocation Tiruvallur is a town located on the Chennai-Tirupathi highway, forty-four kilometers from Chennai. The railway station falls mid-way between the Chennai-Arakkonam railway line. A small town, and now the district headquarter of the recently made Tiruvallur district is developing very fast. Being the nearest town to Chennai give it more industrial and commercial importance. It is also home to many small and medium industries. Hospitals Since Tiruvallur is the headquarters of the Tiruvallur district, it has good government hospital with all modern facilities like X-ray, ECG scan, computerized ICUs and a well equipped operation theater.
